H2O Plus is a Chicago based global product developer, manufacturer, and retailer of innovative skincare, spa, bath and fragrance products. We are currently seeking a
Senior Accountant for our west loop corporate headquarters. This position will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and general accounting. Initially this position will work closely with the CFO and Accounting Manager to become a super user on the Company ERP system, Ross. Focused on process improvement and efficiency, this role will work with accounting and related groups to understand the financial transactions and reporting in the current system and suggest and implement improvements, along with the Information Technology department. Additionally this position will implement other software and databases as needed.
The Senior Accountant will be conversant in and provide assistance in the preparation of the monthly reporting package, including financial statements, balance sheet and income statement analysis, and supporting schedules. This role will provide numerous analyses including revenue, commissions and expense analysis, financial statement variance analysis, audits accounting processes, and facilitates process documentation and financial reporting.
Position Requirements
Position requirements include a Bachelors degree in Accounting and 2 to 4 years public accounting experience, along with a CPA.
Experience in auditing manufacturing and/or retail companies is preferred.
Language skills in addition to English, especially in Mandarin, Japanese, Taiwanese, or Korean, is a plus.
Expert spreadsheet proficiency in excel, a proven ability to easily master software systems, and strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
