No need to go to the spa to get perfectly manicured nails. You can get the same results at home with these simple steps.
Remove old polish with a non-acetone formula to protect dry, weak or brittle nails. Use a cotton ball or pad and saturate with the remover. Rub over nails until all traces of polish are gone.
Use a nail file to smooth and shape nails. Always file in one direction, starting with the outside edge and move toward the middle. Try the file in our Tweezerman Mini Nail Rescue Kit for easy shaping.
Soften overworked hands and dry cuticles with a gentle scrub. Our Hand and Cuticle scrub buffs away roughness with micro-fine pumice and replenishes moisture with natural oils. Rinse and pat dry.
Rub Hand and Nail Cream into cuticles and hands. Then, put on Moisture Therapy Gloves and let sit for 15 minutes to soften cuticles. Leave on overnight for deeper conditioning.
Remove remaining lotion from nails with a soapy scrub brush, rinse and pat dry. Use a cuticle stick to gently push back cuticles. Do not cut cuticles unless absolutely necessary, as it can cause an infection.
Apply two coats of your favorite polish. Always start at the base of the nail in the middle, and then apply to each side. Finish with a clear top coat.
