How To Create the Perfect Pedicure

Soothe tired feet and pamper yourself at home with these simple steps.

Step-by-Step Guide
  1. Soak feet in a warm bath of mineral salts to cleanse and soften for 10 to 20 minutes.
  2. Exfoliate with a smoothing formula, such as Pumice Foot Scrub, which is enriched with micro-fine granules to slough away dry skin and natural oils to replenish moisture.
  3. Target stubborn dry spots and thicker skin around your heels and on the sides of your sole a Pumice Stone. For truly tough calluses, try the Tweezerman Pedro® Too Callus Stone.
  4. Liberally apply a soothing cream, such as our Softening Mint Foot Rub, making sure to massage into cuticles. Try a mildly exfoliating formula, such as our Hand and Foot Smoother Retexturizing Seaweed Therapy, which uses alpha and beta hydroxy acids (AHAs and BHAs) to more soften without abrasives. Pull on cotton socks or Moisture Therapy Socks and rest for 15 minutes. Leave on overnight for deeper conditioning.
  5. Remove remaining lotion from nails with a soapy scrub brush, rinse and pat dry. Use a cuticle stick to gently push back skin around your nails. Do not cut cuticles unless absolutely necessary, as it can cause an infection.
  6. Apply two coats of your favorite polish. Always start at the base of the nail from the middle and work your way to each side. Hands and feet do not need to match, but should complement each other, with the lighter color on your fingers. Finish with a clear top coat and allow to fully dry.
