H2O Plus is a Chicago based product developer, manufacturer, and retailer of innovative skincare, spa, bath and fragrance products. We are currently seeking an Inventory Analyst for our west loop corporate headquarters. This position will be accountable for a variety of responsibilities including analyzing, reporting, and reconciling raw material and finished goods inventory levels, including reconciling external manufacturing. Responsibilities also include review of slow moving and obsolete materials, production discrepancies, run out techniques, projected versus actual inventory levels, and inventory turns by category. Working with Purchasing, the Analyst will evaluate of sales and stock levels to recommend replenishment stock levels ensure sales trends and turnover goals.
Additionally, this position will provide back up and overflow support for the Production Scheduler, including entering bills of material (BOM’S) and electronic control notices (ECN’s) into the ERP system. This role will interface with Scheduling, Purchasing, and Quality to resolve production scheduling and supply chain issues and will also work with Sales, Marketing and Distribution to promote inventory asset management and evaluate root cause related to aging inventory.
Requirements include a demonstrated ability to analyze data and create reporting including excellent software and spreadsheet proficiency in excel, MS office applications, as well as database and MRP systems experience. 5-7 years of inventory analytical experience within a manufacturing environment and a Bachelor’s degree is necessary, along with a proven ability to communicate effectively and recommend continuous improvements, especially within a fast paced entrepreneurial environment. Strong knowledge of key supply chain principles and best practices is also required.

Position Summary:
Establishes the strategic vision for growing company volume and profit through the development of new and existing products. Focuses on new product concepts, line extension and positioning of new and existing products.
Major Responsibilities:
·Initiates Project Briefs to begin development process and ensures all timeline deliverables are met and communicated effectively
·Works with marketing to determine global and market trend analyses to identify new product opportunities, concepts or threats
·Issues quarterly review of competitive launches, new technologies product forms and formula benchmarks
·Collaborates with marketing to evaluate current product geography against competitive set and assess opportunity for additions or deletions
·Develops and manages Bills Of Material (BOM) and cost of goods sold (COGS) target for each new product
·Collaborates with Training to provide material for product positioning, customer target and selling links
·Works with R&D to develop and substantiate all product claims and copy for product packaging
·Acts as project manager for all new product and project developments, managing timeline throughout
·Ensures accuracy and consistency with worldwide regulations for all package labeling
·Responsible for providing product and ingredient content for Marketing Bulletins
·Continually interfaces with R&D to brief formula development and route submissions for approval
·Works with R&D to update current formulations
·Determines solutions for amenities and special account offerings
Position Requirements
·5-7 years of required product development experience in skincare/treatment/bath & body (prefer 10 years plus years marketing experience with the PD experience)
·Strong communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
·Proven ability to present ideas in platform style
·Excellent writing skills
·Ability to communicate technical issues and resolutions to employees and end-users
·Computer literacy, including graphic design and Microsoft Office experience
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; journalism and/or marketing communications preferred.

·Development of marketing strategies and programs
·Soliciting feedback to determine specific retailer and market needs
·Development and oversight of the annual promotional calendars and programming for retail stores and specialty accounts
·Works with International Sales and Distributors to guide international planning
·Maintains competitive activity reporting for key competitor brands
·Liaises with the Creative Team on development of marketing materials
·Develops forecasts for all basic, promotional, and new business
·Develops quarterly sales recaps for management
·Reviews and recaps all new launches
·Leads annual trend analysis to facilitate new product development
·Develops and executes the annual public relations strategy and press briefs with our US based PR agency, approval of co-op advertising
·Develops and manages Point of Sale (POS) and advertising programming
·Oversees the development and maintenance of extranet site and marketing tool kit
Supervision:
This position supervises the Assistant Brand Manager.
Position Requirements
·A minimum of 10 years marketing experience with 7 plus years skincare marketing, including extensive product knowledge and category understanding
·5 plus years of successful staff supervisory experience
·Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Management or Marketing; MBA preferred.
·Strong MS Office proficiency, including expert Excel and PowerPoint skills
·Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
·Possesses a strong visual orientation
·Technical and analytical skills
·Demonstrate an ability to partner effectively with internal departments and to work effectively and successfully in an entrepreneurial environment.
