H2O Plus is a Chicago based product developer, manufacturer, and retailer of innovative skincare, spa, bath and fragrance products.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Lab Analyst to assist us in leading our quality process, including performing required testing and documentation for cosmetic and OTC products. The Lab Analyst will be responsible for planning, organizing, and performing activities involving the physical testing and release of incoming raw materials and compounding samples, in addition to overseeing the collection and evaluation of samples from the plant for the environmental micro program. Responsibilities also include overseeing sample collection along with the reporting of data and record keeping for all testing performed by outside laboratories. This position also participates in the issuance of required lab documents for product exportation (MSDS, Certificates of Analysis, etc), maintains all central QA files and information related to product identity and specification, manages non-conforming material (NMR) process for raw materials and bulk product, maintains the batch and finished product retains program, and performs technical problem solving activities with the R&D and Manufacturing groups.
In conjunction with the Quality Assurance Manager, this position also creates and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and assists in presenting training material related to the quality function.
A minimum of 5 years experience in a Quality Control Laboratory testing environment in Cosmetics or other “regulated” products manufacturing environment (food, pharmaceutical, medical device) and a B.S. in Chemistry or related technical discipline is required, prior lead/supervisory experience is preferred. Additional requirements include a familiarity with Quality Control documentation systems, manufacturing procedures/protocol, and a proven ability to read and interpret lab procedures, test results, and lab safety information. An understanding of the lab equipment used for pH, solids and viscosity analysis is also necessary, along with knowledge of FDA guidelines, OTC products; familiarity with microbiology preferred.

We are focused on a Manager who is able to drive continuous process improvement, protects brand equity by providing quality oversight and ensures that regulatory requirements are met who also demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and is detail and solutions oriented.
The Quality Manager will provide quality oversight for products produced at our company owned manufacturing facility as well as external manufacturing sites. This position is responsible for assuring all quality requirements and specifications are established and met for manufacturing processes and laboratory testing, including the inspection, testing and release of raw materials, batches, packaging, and components.
As a strategic but hands on manager, the Quality Manager will lead management review of the quality system, including developing, maintaining and monitoring Quality Systems, creating, revising and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), as well as reviewing specifications, testing procedures, stability protocols, and SOP changes to ensure compliance with GMP and other quality policies/initiatives. Oversight for nonconformance investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified and completed in a timely manner, creating and reporting performance metrics and key quality indicators, and leading improvement initiatives to support the supply chain is also critical.
This role requires a manager skilled at motivating and mentoring subordinates, building collaborative partnerships with internal and external cross-functional business partners, and is successful at establishing, communicating and training best practices throughout the organization. Candidates must possess proven leadership and organizational skills, be skilled in quality technical support and product trouble shooting activities, knowledgeable of GMP, FDA, and regulatory practices and demonstrates exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
We require a hands on manager who can develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, ensure that products meet specifications and are produced and tested in compliance with approved procedures, GMP practices, and applicable state and federal regulations. International regulatory experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to partner with internal departments to ensure continuous production and service standards that maximize quality, reliability, and minimize costs. We are looking for a solutions oriented professional who establishes, communicates, trains, and executes best practices within the quality and manufacturing groups.
A minimum of at least 10 years quality assurance/control experience with 5 plus years quality management experience in a FDA-registered establishment, previous regulatory/audit experience, and a Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or Pharmacy is required. Experience working with beauty products (skin care and hair care) is desired.

H2O Plus is a Chicago based global product developer, manufacturer, and retailer of innovative skincare, spa, bath and fragrance products. We are currently seeking a Regional Account Executive to join our sales team.
Based out of the Chicago, this position will be responsible for managing national beauty retail account locations in the US and Canada. Responsibilities include heavy interaction with the account buyers and senior level account positions, negotiation of location space and open-to-buy with client account buyers, as well as training account staff members on our product.
The Regional Account Executive will focus on maximizing the performance of sales staff through motivation, ongoing training, and coaching, ensuring strong product presentation and placement, developing and maintaining strong internal and client relationships, and developing and driving promotional events. Approximately 40-50% travel outside of Chicago is required.
This position requires a proven ability to maximize sales and is accountable for budget management and analysis including but not limited to sales, net shipment results, budget integrity and attainment. Additionally, the Regional Account Executive will assist the Executive and Marketing teams in the development of new business and in establishing the account marketing plans.
Position requirements include a minimum of 5-10 years cosmetic account management experience, excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. A Bachelor’s degree and MS Office proficiency specifically in Excel and PowerPoint is also required.
