How To: Recycle Hydration Oasis and Hydration Sensitive Products

At H2O+ our vision is to create clean products that deliver real results without compromise. (Learn more about the 2020 Clean Project here.) As part of our initiative to deliver a clean experience, we try hard to ensure our new products (Hydration Oasis and Hydration Sensitive) are housed in recyclable glass and plastic jars, tubes, and bottles.

Recycled products go through a process of being separated, sterilized, and processed before they can be recycled into a new product. Before recycling products, it is important to remove any residual product from the containers, or else they will be sent to landfill.

How to Recycle Cleanser Tubes Diagram

Our cleanser tubes and the caps are made from polypropylene (Recycling #5). This material is recyclable in some cities, but not all.

To Recycle: We recommend checking in with your local recycling office to see if they recycle polypropylene.

 

 

 

 

For Hydration Oasis and Hydration Sensitive Essences:

How to Recycle Essence Bottles Diagram

Our essence bottles are made from PET (Recycling #1), a recyclable material. The cap for our essence is made of polypropylene (Recycling #5), a material that is recyclable in some cities, but not all.

To Recycle: Place the empty essence bottle in the recycling. Please check with your local recycling office to see if polypropylene is recycled in your area before recycling the cap.

 

 

For Hydration Oasis and Hydration Sensitive Serum:

How To Recycle Serum Containers Diagram

Our serum bottle is made of glass, a recyclable material. The pump is made out of polypropylene (Recycling #5), a material that is recyclable in some cities, but not all. The serum cap is made out of a non-recyclable material.

To Recycle: Place empty serum bottle in the recycling, and discard the cap in the trash. Please check with your local recycling office to see if polypropylene is recycled in your area before recycling the pump.

 

 

For Hydration Oasis and Hydration Sensitive Moisturizer Jars:

How to Recycle Moisturizer Jar Diagrams

Moisturizer jars are made of glass which are recyclable. The cap is made of polypropylene (Recycling #5), a material that is recyclable in some cities, but not all.

To Recycle: Please clean and recycle the glass jar. Check with your local recycling office to see if polypropylene is recycled in your area before recycling the cap.

 

 

 

Helpful Tips:

  1. Use it All: Before recycling the containers, make sure to remove all residual product.
  2. Sort It Out: When recycling products, ensure that they are being disposed of in the proper containers. Glass, paper, and plastic should be separated for recycling based on your local guidelines.
